India won the world cup. The hangover was still their before IPL4 started. However IPL4 is not that interesting as it was to be last three years with peoplee xcited about the team they supported.I am myself fan of cricket and IPL and i support DelhiDaredevils but i myself not excited about matches i used to be and also not feeling that bad as when Delhi use to loose . The situation of IPL has become "who cares" for people , they watch it if they have time . IPL has just excited players and franchise and reason is obviously the 'money' that counts.The prize money is also around 28 crores. The new team introduced this year cost nearly as "two new teams cost equals to eight old team cost".

I believe is more due to the "All players going in the auction" thing that has caused this problem.
ReplyDeleteThe players u supported are no longer in ur team which has made supporting a particular team more difficult.
They should follow the Transfer system like in Football. Also a lil rivalry would add to the fun.
there is transfer window for ipl too but its nt lyk football where owner r ready to sell their star players....do u think mumbai will sell sachin to say delhi or chennai ...naah
